Bailey Cruse is a professional racing driver with an impressive track record in the world of motorsport. Starting out in the NZ Improved Production Championship, Bailey quickly caught the attention of industry veterans Kenny Smith and John Tomlin, who helped him transition into Formula Ford. It didn't take long for Bailey to make his mark, scoring a podium position in his debut Formula Ford race at the ITM Formula Ford Winter Series.

From there, Bailey continued to excel, winning the Class 3 Championship in the Giltrap Group North Island Formula Ford Championship. Eager to push himself further, Bailey moved up to the Ex TRS FT50 and competed in the Formula Open NZ (FONZ), consistently landing on the podium.

In 2023, Bailey showcased his skills in the Motul HondaCup, finishing the season with an impressive record, including three poles and a championship win in the Open Class. Bailey's talent and dedication were further recognized when he was selected to attend the Elite Motorsport Academy of New Zealand, joining the ranks of esteemed names like Shane Van Gisbergen, Marcus Armstrong, and Nick Cassidy.

Continuing to make waves, Bailey signed a deal with Hixon Motorsport to race in the Mazda MX-5 Cup for the final three rounds of the 2023 championship. Despite being a rookie, Bailey showcased his potential with a strong performance, finishing 11th overall out of 28 cars and fourth among the rookies.

Now, Bailey sets his sights on his ultimate goal of racing in IMSA. With a successful racing career behind him and a burning passion for the sport, Bailey is ready to take on the challenge of his first full season in the United States.
